Kids here go to monk summer camp. Not all of course, but some parents send their kids to spend time (a few days to a few months) in a Buddhist temple, where they study Buddhism and live the monk life during the summer break.

Barn här åker på sommarläger hos munkarna. Inte alla så klart, men en del föräldrar skickar sina barn till templet under sommarlovet, för att studera buddhism och leva munk livet.

You see ladyboys, or katoey, all the time in Thailand. They are accepted and a part of society. I usually see them looking just like normal women (half of the time I probably don’t even know it) and not dressed up like this so had to take a picture…

Man ser ladyboys, eller katoey, (män som klär sig och beter sig som kvinnor), hela tiden i Thailand. De är accepterade och en del av samhället. Oftast ser de ut som vanliga kvinnor (hälften av tiden vet jag förmodligen inte att det är en ladyboy) och inte såhär uppklädda så jag var tvungen och ta en bild.

You see trees like this here and there in Bangkok, most of the time more decorated than this one. I think they are pretty cool.

Du kan se såna här träd lite överallt i Bangkok, ofta mer utsmyckade än det här. Jag tycker de är ganska coola.
